Perfect Unfolding
This is more than a travel story. It reveals the inner workings of a unique, modern-day nomad’s journey from self-doubt and heartbreak to a life richer than her wildest dreams.
Perfect Unfolding is a timeless “Year in the life” memoir of a solo, full-time, female explorer who has broken free of many societal norms, wanders without plans to remote areas, and lives almost completely off grid. It’s an invitation for anyone caught in the constraints of modern life and it begs the question, “Where do you most want and need to be free?”
You’ll join the adventure in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, travel north past where the road ends on the Atlantic Coast of North America, and even further north to an Inuit settlement on the northern Labrador Sea. You’ll travel down to Mexico’s southern Pacific Coast, and west to California and Oregon.
More than distances traveled, this journey is about serendipitous encounters, strangers who become friends, risk and the breakdown of beliefs, a close call with death, loss, love, and humor.
